>dude comes in who posts in the channel on the reg and rotates his pfp to be one of THOSE Pokemon (Lucario, Braixen, Zoroark, etc.) keeps trying to steer the conversation "back to Pokemon" and is quietly seething about us discussing Trainers instead of the actual Pokemon
>basically try to ignore him but he keeps interjecting about his favorite Pokemon and calling the Trainers boring to the point where we give up and end the conversation so he stops being a cunt
The kicker here is that this is a bunch of several incidents that I've had condensed into one story. The fact that it's so difficult to have discussions about Pokemon and be on the same page is sort of a blessing and a curse; there's a lot of things to talk about and different ways to enjoy the franchise but it makes it harder to find the right people to talk to. I know it's annoying for both sides, and that there's obnoxious human-only coomers who clog up discussion about the actual Pokemon themselves to sperg out about who they want to fuck the most. Honestly I just hate it when discussion is policed like that. Don't even get me started on the retarded teenagers and young adults that keep putting LGBT genderspecial identities onto the characters just to project or make them more unique. It makes things even harder than it ever was to find people to talk to that aren't unhinged and obnoxious. Damn, I should just move to a cabin in the middle of the woods and take up embroidery until I die with a self-made pillow of my favorite Pokeboy watching the life fade from my eyes when I leave this mortal coil. It's all so tiresome.
