Was bored so I felt like asking two different questions. Has there been any interesting fangames or romhacks as of recently? I haven't had much to do after I quit my job and I've already ran through most of my backlog at this point, the few games I haven't played through are too awful for me to consider or have too many issues that trigger my autism something fierce, stuff like Soulstones, Seaglass and Infinity all sucked ass for different reasons.
The other question was if any artfags and spriters could give me a few tips, I've been trying to draw some regionals and fakemon, but I'm not really good at shading or getting the pokemon artstyle perfectly.
>>57857875A Fire/Steel Heatmor evo that was mutated to incorporate Durant's armor into itself to become a lumbering juggernaut that can barely move yet takes and dishes out a lot of damage is to me a pretty cool concept as someone who likes the anteater a bit. My other two picks would be either Rampardos or Spidops for pretty obvious reasons, albeit I'm not sure what I'd recommend for either, Rampardos needs speed, I think an interesting idea would be mutating it into a Rock/Psychic type, with the mutant evolution developing some weird gemstones with spyral patterns on it's dome and back that emit gravitational altering energy, not sure if it should be a special or physical attacker, Rampardos' special movepool isn't bad and Sheer Force is typically better enjoyed by special attackers too, I would also suggest giving the mutant evo a powerful recoil move where it catapults itself high with it's newfound psychic powers and comes crashing down like a meteor. I think making the mutant evolution for Spidops something like Bug/Ghost would be interesting given the whole black ops vibe it has, though there's already been a Normal/Bug and Normal/Ghost, so I dunno, maybe making it use it's webs to manipulate the shells of deceased Bug Pokemon like puppets? There's something interest potential there.
