"What if" isn't a strong argument point, proof brings shit to the table. You're providing a filter to excuse her actions by means of 4th wall insight, but in-universe no one has the same information as you.
She doesn't justify her actions in the slightest and plot railroads you to agreeing with her. That's the problem here.
