Does it ever make sense to anyone that two Pokemon are completely evenly matched in speed and the game randomizes the winner via cointoss? As if one Pokemon suddenly stops and says "no, after you. I insist!"
So I had an idea. What if Pokemon implemented clashes. So that if two moves hit at essentially the same time the game does a damage formula between both Pokemons offenses and defenses for a rating. Both Pokemon deal damage but the one with more rating gets 20% more damage and the loser gets 20% less.
Is this a good or bad idea? And how you you see this changing the meta?
