You can actually see this in the ORAS Pokedex, where the size comparisons actually line up with the measurements written in the entries.
Inexplicably, Zossie and Phyco appear to have battle models, but they have no animations associated with them and all their fingers are a single mesh, much like with overworld models.
I'm assuming this is because they show up in the intro, but they could've just used the overworld variant; then again, this is Game Freak we're talking about.
