That really speaks for the shitty quality of all the titles overall. ORAS included mega evolution from XY which was a nice gimmick that gave some new blood into competitive battling and even made some unviable mons useful again, but without the shitty story/game experience of XY.
SM/USUM introduced a shitty gimmick that basically boosts the power of a move, replaced gyms with an inferior model
New doesn't equal good you fucking retards. and shoved the singleplayer story down our throats with cutscenes every four steps and ANOTHER copy paste battle mansion from XY / ORAS.
