Ive take issue with Pokemon games since the 4th gen iterations, but still find that the pros of the game outweigh the cons for as many as there are. Pretty sure the dex is was the straw that broke the camel's back for many people, but I knew a limited National dex was an inevitability.
All the other issues of overworld graphics, animation, shit gimmicks and supposed claims of content cutting for the sake for quality by gamefreak devs, I also take issue with, but this isnt new. Why my general feeling of disdain and indifference should now be seething hatred is beyond me.
Out of all this controversy, enjoy people taking this too seriously. Makes me feel more normal.
