In reality, based on the colors of the cores on its chest, it would seem that Zygarde is not a Trio Master locked to one region, but an arbitrator between the opposing forces of Solgaleo and Lunala on Alola as well as Yveltal and Xerneas in Kalos as they have no third party to mediate their duels.
