>>46898305Yeah, you really don't get a ton of that throughout the series. I blame it on the fact that the people making it want Pokemon to stay sort of mysterious and open to interpretations. Most of the time, when we see a Pokemon in the anime (One of the few places we see Pokemon being more active), it doesn't get a ton of focus or deep rooted personality or any lines, as such Pokemon tend to blend together. But when they do put a bit more effort into it, you do get Pokemon who do feel more individualistic and that tells me that each individual Pokemon is going to be different from one another, even on a species level.
I really wish we'd get more of this though. I would love to see as an example (we're in the Gardevoir thread after all), a Gardevoir who's very individualistic. Filled to the brim with personality, character, ideals, morals, flaws, etc besides just what three to five lines are in the Pokedex. That would be super cool.
