But if that killed trade and turism it would explain why everything is so stagnant, to the point that when they decide to have radio station they just rather go and desecrate a cemmetery than build a new radio tower.
And the sevii islands are an extention of that, lonenly places with barely any people and small remote towns where nothing happens, except some gang and team rocket.
I find it relaxing, in a yokohama kaidashi kikou kind of way.
