Goh sucks as a character. If they were going to focus on the capture aspect they should have just stolen Kris’ thing from Pokémon adventures. She actually has a motivation and a set team.
Although the concept of “gotta catch ‘em all” was pretty fucked altogether considering there’s nearly 1,000 of the things and is an idea that would have worked during Gen 4. Doesn’t help that THIS IS THE GEN WHERE YOU CANT GET EVERY POKÉMON!
