Think about how weird the jump from Gen 3 to Gen 6 was for the RSE remakes. Comparing the GBA to the 3DS, he new system has 3D graphics, stereoscopic 3D, touch controls, a microphone, wireless internet, oh yeah and TWO SCREENS. Whole different beast. You never could've guessed that's what a gen 3 remake would be like in the future when the Firered and Leafgreen came out.
The games will still be bad though.
