How could you want to be a pokemon trainer when you know at any second they could overpower you and do whatever they want? We see it in the anime all the time, they have wills of their own and a lot of the time even human level intelligence. They’re definitely stronger than us, and most of the time they can just free themselves from the pokeball as they please. It’s kind of scary.
