My ex used to call me a huge loser because I liked it and she didn't, except maybe some cutemons, whether she was meant to be serious or not about it, I don't know. Anytime it was brought up or relevant, like a shitty pokemon parody she shows, I wouldn't be that entertained and she would say she thought I would like it, then I explain to her the misinterpretation e.g. status move being super effective, and she would just roll her eyes.
