Was dangerously close with XY though. Those almost killed my interest in the series entirely.
I'm really loving ORAS so far though. Just wish they took some more cues from Emerald while still keeping the ruby/sapphire distinctions, like having the Magma base be in jagged pass which makes more fucking sense.
I kinda want to get into competitive but I mainly like to play pokemon games for the campaign and just fucking around in the world. I'm addicted to the new Secret Base system and I like going around catching legendaries and playing with them in Amie. It's just nice to kick back and unwind in pokemon games, however I hope they do put more substance into the main cmapaigns in the future. I think I liked the whole of Gen 5 the most because of that.
