I hate everything after gen 5 to the bone but Cinderace is miles better than Typhlosion. This isn't even a close contest at all, Typhlosion is one of the worst fully evolved starters in this franchise while Cinderace is one of the best. You can say movepools don't make sense all you want, Cinderace's movepool is spot on. It kicks balls, it kicks trash, it kicks faces, switches fields, commit fouls and gets benched. Those were his common moves and the only nonsensical would be kicking trash, but kick the can exists. Meanwhile the only thing Typhlosion gets is eruption and maybe burn up if you're feeling extra stupid.
The only objective comparison can be made in comp. You guys can discuss art, design and shit like that all you want but there are always people who like other stuff. Cinderace isn't even all that terrible considering how starters were in gen 7. It wasn't a improvement but I expected worse.
Typhlosion looks better, visually, to me. But it's a really unimpressive mon overall. 3D model really butchered it and that's why people will say Typhlosion looks bland and uninspiring. There are better looking "volcanoes" already.
>>47148523Wait and hope. If everything goes well LA might fix some of Typhlosion's flaws. It's really impossible to fix all of them but a facelift is better than nothing. At worse it gets some time in the spotlight.
