Both plans are stupid, but Zinnia makes the idiotic mistake of putting the entire world at risk because of her multiverse theory.
I don't give a shit how much you believe in the multiverse, if a meteor is about to hit Earth and you have the ability to warp it away, you fucking use it. Zinnia destroyed the Link Cable because she had an alternative and wanted to make sure they didn't use it in her absence, but that was fucking dumb. At the very least she should have just taken it with her, so if she failed she could give it back and the Earth could still have a chance of survival.
She factored in the consequences of warping the meteor away, but didn't factor in any of the questionable elements in her own plan. If you didn't happen to be standing there with the plot device in your backpack the world would've been fucked, and it would have been all Zinnia's fault.
Even if the Link Cable HAD warped the meteor to another universe and doomed the planet, who fucking cares? Am I really supposed to give a shit about EVERY universe in the multiverse now? Sorry Zinnia, but chances are, in the infinite number of Earths that exist in the infinite number of universes that exist in your theory, at least 25% of them are probably being destroyed by some horrible event as we speak.
