Alright for those who don't know, Pokemon Reborn is an...interesting hack, to say the least. The story is garbage (and quite possibly the edgiest shit I have ever seen in a rom hack) and it's only up to 13 episodes at the moment. It introduces new mechanics in terrain. There's an electric terrain that boosts electric attacks and turns certain moves like Explosion into electric moves, a fire terrain that does damage to non fire type mons (and hurting mons super effective to fire a whole bunch) There's a lot of different terrains so I'll explain each of them as I go.
Reborn has its own site, if you're interested in this game or want to know even more about the terrain effects. The forums are pretty stupid though, but what do you expect from an edgy game?
We being this game with the creator of Reborn (get ready to hear the name Amethyst or Ame) welcoming us to this region. The mon she sends out is predictably Absol. She goes on to talk about how Reborn only has a few Pokemon and how the enviroment is totally fucked up and how soon there'll be no Pokemon at all. Then she talks about some armageddon and the trainers here are among the strongest, EVER.
Oh, and it turns out we were on a train and it explodes.
