Pokemon doesn't really do sideways stairs as far as I know, outside of interiors which are a different situation. They go out of their way to map things so the stairs are vertical. I would urge you to do the same.
Same issue with most of the snow tiles. They are only deformed because you arranged them that way. They aren't meant to be in super thing strips, so just make the grass patches wider and it should work fine.
I can do the packed trees, but I will need a link to the updated tileset if you have it on you.
We should already have natural ramps. I have seen them in several of the other maps.
