Honestly I really understand everyone who loves any Gen in specific because this matter is indeed pretty subjective. Seeing Pokemon moving in Gen 2 was a really memorable moment for me. Training Hoppip in the hopes of it getting stronger like Magikarp was (because it only had Splash), but still ending being the cutest shit ever really made it grow on me.
Every generation has its pros and flaws and I legitimately love the series, even though I'm losing hope after the latest games.
