I'm new to the metagame, and I've only started to EV train a few of my Pokemons. I'm just training my Charizard with a macho brace, because it's just my favorite and I'll have it on my team regardless. But does anyone have any suggestions as to how to efficiently EV train, or what kinds of Pokemon I should have on my team?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One day, many moons ago I assumed I had out-grown Pokemon and I traded in my copies of Platinum, Diamond, Black, and gave away my Gen 3 games, but held onto my fire red. Just recently I purchased Black 2 and I am going to buy back all the games, and I am never, ever getting rid of them ever again. Pokemon is too much fun.
