I'm pretty sure this comment won't go over well here, but Serena's second design reminds me of something one of the Digidestined would wear. I have fond memories of both series, and I'm honestly not trying to shit on Serena, I'm just surprised her design change seems to have been so well received here. The pacing of her development was a crime, and when they decided to make her more interesting and relevant they had her cut all her hair off, to the point where she was able to pass for a boy in one episode. Why couldn't she cut Fennekin's hair instead? Or the bow it was wearing? I also thought the red vest, hot pink hat, and light pink dress with a blue ribbon clashed and was visually unappealing. Seriously, wtf?
