Personally I'd cut out a few of those and just try to settle on one version per game, because more than that would get repetitive. It would look something like this, based on your list:
>Crystal>LG>Emerald>Pearl>UM>White>Crystal>Yellow>Alpha Sapphire>finish with PlatinumThough I'd also want to play them in release order, since going back to Gen 1 & 2 PC boxes and item lists after modern gens is a nightmare.
For a path I'd suggest just playing whichever you're most interested in at the time so you don't get bored. If a game starts feeling like a slog it's time to play a different one.
