Things with soul usually aren't really streamlined, and yes tend to almost always have an older aesthetic and a bit of an edge. I think in some ways things with soul may feel like something a kid would think up on a warm summer vacation evening, or something a longtime fan of a particular subject would pour their heart into. It’s such a loosely defined term and its hard to identify but you know its there.
