But I think this was a coincidence Gardevoir is from 13 years ago, I'm sure she's just based on several things and it's up to personal interpretation. Mega Gardevoir is 100% supposed to be a Queen or Cinderella though, which would make sense considering X and Y had RPG based themes Chesnaught, Delphox and Greninja (Knight, Mage, Rogue) fighting their way to find the princess at the end (Mega Gardevoir). Then combine it with Norse mythology and bam there's Freyja (which would extend upon Gardevoir being a female knight like Joan, Minerva, Athena and also a symbol of love and warmth like hestia)
As a side note, Juliette is also depicted with having wings.
