>>51441745I don't know how you can consider Gen 1 the superior game in every metric. I agree Gen 2's level curve is shit, but Gen 1 is held together with toothpicks and spit. At least Gen 2 upgraded to popsicle sticks and glue. Both are on the same level for me, I just like my color and two explorable regions.
