>>45354519There's a correct way to handle it but given how it took them this long to implement one-tap switching and the camera not zooming in on the trainer (aka the most useless place it could look) during a pokemon change Niantic won't get it done for a while.
>Confusion and Volt Switch deal damage instantly but with 'end lag' which renders the Pokemon unresponsive until the 'animation' is done - attributes improved slightly to make them not just worse versions of existing fast moves. Say Confusion has 4.5 DPT and 3 EPT and Volt Switch has 3 DPT and 4.5EPT>Also rebalance Fighting fast moves so it's not just Counter and 3 worse versions of Counter. Given how fast move distribution is done without consideration of the Pokemon's rarity or power level (Legendaries and shitmons alike have Low Kick) it makes no sense.Incinerate either has to be overtuned to compensate for either form of unresponsiveness time that they'd have been better off just reskinning Psycho Cut yet again. Current Incinerate is 3 DPT/4 EPT and even if changed to deal damage every second for the full 5 seconds, the loss of control over your Pokemon would warrant it being bumped up to something like 3.5 DPT/4.5 EPT
But, minigame on a children's fitness app. Who cares.
