A lot of these things are subtle as fuck so I'm not surprised that people were tricked into thinking imagination or turtles.

no it isn’t. go take a look at what our iron treads looks like. you have a drawing that doesn’t match, and a photograph that is blurry and conveniently hides parts of its body

nta but if heath actually saw paradox pokemon, then paradox pokemon should stay down in area zero. professor walks in and should see paradoxes walking around but doesnt and needs to build a time machine to get them.
can you explain where the disappearing iron treads went after heath's expedition? or why it has different feet compared to the iron treads we get?

it means heath saw something different. and the great tusk/iron treads we got is a result of people (occulture & professor) reinterpreting it in their heads and not getting all the details right because they weren’t actually there with heath. funny how the iron treads’ violet book drawing has completely different feet and in the actual blurry photo the feet are completely obscured so we ended up with something different

no heath saw something different, which means it wasn't actually great tusk/iron treads in the past. lends more credence to the idea that our paradox donphans came from another source, being occulture. which means they were imagined up.
otherwise iron treads would have feet that look like the ones shown in the violet book but our iron treads doesnt

If Terapagos is a wish granter that grants wishes based off the user's imagination then it stands to reason that it went off of what Turo/Sada envisioned a paradox Virizion/Suicune looks like. That explains both the visual differences of Wakes/Leaves as well as why the details of Treads/Tusks don't match up 1:1 to the sketch or the photos.
