Competitively Lopunny is fast, offensive and not too bulky, while Sableye is slow, defensive and not too strong offensively.
Typing-wise, Normal and Ghost are obvious counterparts while Fighting and Dark are too.
In a battle, Lopunny wins if Sableye has lost its Prankster, but this can be loosely said to be a 50/50 situation, because Lopunny's Scrappy means it can hit Sableye, while Sableye's Prankser Will-O-Wisp is probably the best way to deal with Lopunny. They both deal with each other.
Their color schemes are basically opposite, white and blackish purple and red and brown.
Lopunny is taller and skinnier while Sableye is shorter and its gem makes it much wider.
But, they're both lovable and happy. In the Mega Evolution trailer for ORAS (which the gif is from) they're both laughing at each other and being really lovable.
So I say this is a Mega Sableye/Mega Lopunny thread.
