>>14798050Ok, so you start the game meeting Mangrove, who asks you to go to the next town and tell Sequoya to get back to the lab, giving you your pokemon to aid your journey.
You have friendly rival you meet in the first town is whichever protag you do not pick. They get the starter that is better against yours, and become your first battle.
So you then go to get Sequoya from Coal town and return to the starter town, where the Prof who either tells you to keep the pokemon because you have obviously bonded, or he always intended for you to keep it whatever.
Anywho, you then trek back to coal town but run into Doucherado, who proceeds to fight you with your friend's pokemon, having stolen it from them. I guess he flees with it once you bet him
So your friend goes back to the professor and gets the leftover pokemon, who they use for the remainder of the game.
Misc stuff, your dad works at Victory Road, probably as a badge checker, and Northington appears as an npc in the Proffessors lab, but doesn't really have any interaction with the player.
