In order to secure victory and earn yourself the Cliff Badge, you'll have to defeat all of my team, and THEN beat me in a lap! But that isn't all!"
"Ehhh, there's MORE!?"
"That's right! Even if you defeat my Pokemon AND beat me in a race, it WON'T count unless you have your companion by your side when you cross the finish line, the same goes for me! If she stumbles even ONCE during the battle, you gotta go back and help her out!"
"Th-That sounds like a lot on my plate!"
"It is! You see Calem: IT TAKES AN IDIOT TO COOL THINGS, THAT'S WHY IT'S COOL!" with that, Grant performs a magnificent spin and unleashes his first Pokemon.
"TYYYYYRUUUUNT!"
The tiny tot dinosaur appears in a swirl of sparkles, he lands on the track and mimics the spin his trainer performed. With skates of his own on and a helmet to match, he roars with determination.
Both Grant and Tyrunt speed up even more, trying to get away from you before you can even send your first Pokemon out.
