>>51588930I think I got lucky. I skipped gen 6 and Sun/moon as I started my career and got busy with life. Then picked up USUM when things settled down.
USUM as a first 3d experience was simply amazing. The quests, the story, the challenges, megas, and the post game were all very fun to me and the designs are some of my favourite by far.
I have a huge soft spot for USUM and it feels like a holiday to play.
Plus, correct me if I'm wrong, I think it remains probably the only game to look decent in comparison to its peers. GF really eeked out as much performance from the 3ds as possible which remains an oddity for the series.
