Anyways, we get it-- You're acclimated to your shitty nuke gimmicks and are conflating them with megas again. Notice how every instance of Megas where you evolve turn 1 generally turns out to be worse than holding off? Can't say the same for your UNGA BUNGA buttons at all.
Just because YOU didn't play the game and like to base assumptions off of your own headcanon, it doesn't mean other people don't. The fact of the matter is that the regional gimmicks are detrimental to Pokemon as a series that increments its advancements. Megas were actually balanced and tweaked on a dime; with the gimmicks, they'll just scrap it and replace them with something equally broken next gen. How fitting they go with that design philosophy when their target audience of manchildren are riddled with ADHD and can't go more than two seconds without having Kanto mentioned.
