Even if that formula is a joke, people like a little bit of care put in a work made from them just so they know it's something made for them. That's not true of everyone who just wants to fap, but generally lazy or undertrained hack artists oversimplify why some artists are successful or how much work successful artists actually put into their craft despite how at a glance their style or some of their work can look so simple a monkey can do it. Some coomers might even be into parts or seeing action or gestures, meaning artists who put their all in the boobs and hide the hands aren't going to get off that easily for some clients and are damned foolish they can get by similar to a martial artist in a Bruce Lee parable who practiced the same kick 10,000 times.
More artists, even wannabe hentai artists need to understand that it's not just about drawing boobs and curves. They need to make characters look good doing just about anything, no matter how mundane or absurd the picture may be, that's how you can tell an artist is good enough to catch someone's attention. Not because of what they did but how well they drew it or what technique made it so desirable regardless of where it's focused, because at least they'll want a piece of that action.
Fly-by-night artists who are looking for a magic bullet to piling yous and getting a quick buck for some smokes instead of building their own foundations can keep fooling themselves and anons in my position may even be a minority but I still stand by my ideas that artists thinking that meme actually works are only hurting themselves outside free-request threads.
