This thread does get me thinking, though. What if there were a main game where pretty much every battle, perhaps excluding wild battles, were doubles matches? All of these moves and abilities which most people just ignore because the main game is singles would suddenly have an in-game use. It's not like there are any singles-only abilities, so every move and ability would be useful in-game. There would be a lot more creativity in terms of how in-game teams could be constructed, and opponents would be able to give all of those moves and abilities more exposure.
