>>53812331I quit in early 2019, (almost) cold turkey. From at least once per day to never. Actually just passed 4 years this month, give or take. And if I'm being honest, those intrusive thoughts never really go away. They become less frequent with time, but once you've used porn for so long, it eventually conditions your brain to it. it's human nature. You can't really do much about the intrusive thoughts, but what you can control is if you entertain them. So banish the thought. literally. As soon as you realize you've gotten one of those thoughts, do literally anything to think about something else.
>>53812339it's different for everyone, but for me those urges usually came around out of boredom, so try to keep yourself busy and away from the usual temptations. For me, I stopped visiting the sites I normally went to for material (trash and others). When I got those urges, I usually prayed until they went away, or got up and went for a run, just anything to keep myself busy. Idle hands and all that. Still took a few months until I fully quit looking at porn, but I stopped wanking day 1, failed twice in the ensuing two weeks, and never again since. I guess I'm not really the best to give advice about this since I pretty much cut cold turkey of my own accord and never followed any program, but that's about how it went for me.
