I bought it around a week after the initial release. A poor decision, considering that the 3DS had no games and the XL model had come out within the first year. But a Pokemon game for it was inevitable and that was my main driving force for buying it at the time. Plus the handful of games announced for it at the time that I was interested. Most them turned out to be shit and a couple of them were actually canned. I learned my lesson though. Don't buy a console/handheld immediately after launch. Ever.
