Mid game
Cofagrigus is Runegrigus. Gym leader is a treasure hunter who you battle in a sandstorm in the region's desert. He has set up a camp there and that's his "gym" but he's more of a nomad and doesn't have a set location.
Numel travels with him in the overworld as a pack camel and you go treasure hunting with him in the same desert later in the game.
