I understand your reasoning but he's special to me, more than any accidental shiny/normal shiny. It legit broke my heart seeing he wasn't in SWSH as I was unaware that only charmander made it in. (Um so let me just interject here and say please the kanto pandering, let's get some johto/hoenn/sinnoh/unova love in here) Let people enjoy the games as they want.
