>>55967414Too bad Blastoise doesn't get Freeze-Dry in here.
But at least Nidoking was there to cover for everything else.
>>55967503Well, it did matter in this last fight, since you can't recover to full against Eternatus due to all the segmented HP it has.
>>55967376So, seems to me the devs buffed Eternatus to hell and back after that Alpharad video where he kept saying Ivy was the real final boss.
Motherfucker can shrug off multiple +6 super effective attacks like it's nothing, and only crits can get more than one bar once it goes E-Max.
I stopped going for 3 Shell Smashes and only did one because it was impossible to survive if I commited to it, but also impossible to do enough damage if I didn't go for one at least. Mega Blastoise helped a lot more during this last fight just for the base increase in Sp. Atk.
Nidoking was also able to tank hits and dish a one bar per turn due to No Retreat and Stamping Tantrum. Couldn't find Earthquake, but it was probably for the best.
Overall, G-Max seems more useful in Blastoise than Mega, Nidoking is a beast, even without Sheer Force, and you can build it either physical or special.
A+ To Blastoise, Motherfucker can clean house with Shell Smash and any other move, but Bouncy Bubble is just stupid and you can even spam it.
A to Nidoking. It can learn almost any good move, as long as you can find them. Got it to set up with No Retreat as an egg move, but it has pretty decent stats to oneshot anything with its supper effective attacks, so you might not even need it. Still, you might want to wait until they implement Sheer Force if you wanna use it as its fullest potential.
