>>35856360Why is PP a thing? I mean I understand the basic idea of only getting to use a move so many times, but it only really works in single player during long stretches of exploring dungeons. It almost never comes into effect in battles but the most stally ones. I would make two changes to make PP a more battle-relevant mechanic.
>Remove PP Up items and anything similar. Low PP moves have their nerf ruined when given 8 since 8 is plenty enough to take advantage us. Let alone when a move gets 64 PP which is absurd>Introduce a new Status: Stress. Halves Special Attack (ala Burn) and doubles PP consumption. Stacks with Pressure (Name could change, you could have Spooked or Startled)Do this, rebalance some moves' PP, and bam PP is relevant. You can even experiment with moves and items that restore PP in battle, as well as abilities.
