>>38567689yeah, that's actually a really cool idea! i'm still sticking to using it as a starter now, but i could make its pokedex entry be about how it was thought to be extinct but it had adapted to living underground and use the pollution idea for another mon (maybe some kind of tar pit zombie? i feel like you can't do much more than grimer and trubbish without going overboard but it could be interesting). i'm still not sure what the other two starters should be, but i was thinking if i could base all three off of extinct animals, maybe even mention them being part of a program where newbie trainers are given one to popularize/breed them
