Ice however hits Ground, Grass, Flying, and Dragon, all incredibly useful things to get coverage on, and works with electric to form near unresisted neutral coverage. Do you know part of why Kyurem-B is so good? It has two fantastic offensive types in Dragon and Ice, plus Fusion Bolt to form a BoltBeam combo to round out it's coverage. Mamoswine is still amazing because it's Ice typing paired with it's Ground typing gets fantastic STAB coverage that hits many important threats for SE and is resisted by very few, although commonly used, Pokemon.
Ice will always be a fantastic offensive type unless they turn the type chart on it's head. Ice will also always be a shitty defensive typing unlike Fairy, but whatever. You're fucking retarded to think Ice was used to hit dragons only. Jesus fuck that's just fucking stupid.
