>>57135195Your image reminds me of how cold and bitter winter really is. When it's clear and not a single cloud in the sky like that, the temperatures reach well below -10F/-21C. When the wind blows at those temps it really feels like something is biting at your face and you wonder why you live in a frozen hell scape.
However, what makes me stay here is the winter nights. Seeing my small city covered in fresh snow and the street lights lighting up the streets is real calming. It really shines when you travel to the countryside on a full moon. Seeing the whole night illuminated by the winter moon and seeing moonlight reflect of the snow, it makes life worth living sometimes.
Not a lot of snow this year, and around Christmas there's only at least 1-3 inches of snow on the ground. If you want to see snow in my part of Burgerland, come around late December through late January. There will be plenty snow by then.
February sucks.
