Pokemon Heroes was one of my biggest exposures to the series as a whole, and I loved Latios and how cool it was there. It also just seemed like a very brave Pokemon, with it sacrificing itself and all. So when I got Pokemon Ruby, I was ecstatic to learn that you could catch Latios in the post game. And from there, it just always been that one Pokemon that I just love a lot through and through. Amazing stats, a unique signature item, its design is a mix of cool and cute and its got a cool type. Latias is alright too, but it didn't have the same impact on me as Latios did.
