So I had an interesting idea.

What if instead of picking all 3 or 4 of your Pokemon at the start of a battle you just chose your leading 1/2

Then as the battle progresses you can pick from your remaining party. But once you pick 2 from the rest you cannot use the others for that battle.

So basically you would be picking your team as the battle progresses instead of right from the start.

Thoughts?

Yea I felt that way too. Didn't they also do this with that Lucario in xy?

In general the newer games force a lot of story stuff on you which also gets in the way of my enjoyment. I am just trying to have an adventure on my own terms yet all this other shit keeps occurring.
