The music was based, the story and sequel were based, the gym leaders were based, the mons looked cool and dynamic, they perfectly captured the high metropolitan yet diverse atmosphere of america and gave us difficulty settings and a toggle-able device that allows babies like you to level up their teams while focusing on the first pokemon of their party. Then we got the second best online system in the franchise(first being PSS) and a unique way to get HA's that actually had some in-game reason to exist instead of just a fucking addon like bank, go, or home. But please, by all means, go back to fapping to whatever flavor of the month pokewaifu has been shitting up this board recently and pretending that the franchise as a whole will NEVER return to that level. Fuck, what was the last solid game since Gen V? Not XY, not OR "battle frontier is underway lol" AS, not the telltale games that were Gen 7, and certainly not the "High kwarity animashuns prease undastandu gaijin" that we just got.
