I had a dragonite power bouncer when i was a kid. I was grasping my power bouncer in my weak, 5-year-old hands where I went. At the same time my step-dad had a 1990 Chevy Silverado with a loose door handle on the passenger side.
My older brother and sister were getting agitated, and by pushing one another in the truck they hit the loose handle and i went tumbling onto the road. We were going around 25-30mph around a turn, and my face and belly hit the concrete, I loosened my grasp. . .
The dragonite powerbouncer was rolling away when i looked up. I was powerless, in pain and shock when i grasped out to it. It rolled far down the road, and visibly into one of the gutters. The pain off my busted teeth and broken arm was nil compared to the pain of my losing my best friend, Dragonite powerbouncer.
Weeks later, while going to the same area to visit my grandma, a couple of kids we had known in the area had showed it to my brother, and when i brought it up immediately seeing it my eyes watered. The kids looked confused, maybe they didn't under stand the bond i had with my Dragonite powerbouncer. . My brother traded them a cool stick for my Dragonite powerbouncer, so i suppose so.
Reunited, i was expecting my mom to be happy as well, she was smart. She told me i needed to throw away dragonite powerbouncer, because the rubber around it was foul and filthy. I cried, ran back to my room, locked the door.
I was smart also, He didn't need the filthy rubber to be my best friend! I used my pencil from my school pack sack and dug into the rubber, carefully. I wanted to free him from the shitty life my siblings had caused him, I wanted to be with Dragonite, with or without his powerbouncing side!
Till this day, I still use Dragonite on my teams. I had had several toys that came and went, yet that one had sparked my interest into the world of pokemon - yet more directly, Dragonite.
I lost the figurine Dragonite from the Powerbouncer in the move. c'est le vi.
