Because (and I'll use simple words as I can tell you're slow) the world as a whole knows Pokémon is a kiddy RPG. Not even memeing, say it to the normeies and they'll talk about how they played it as kids or their kids play it.
In fact everyone involved in the whole show aim to keep it as such, because they want to keep targeting that market (it's like gamestop buying up the independent games stores, they didn't buy hardware stores and converted, as they knew that wouldn't attract the market they want). Now I saw this and realised the status quo when GS launched in Gen II and instead of growing their game, they made it as they did. My question to you is, how, if you're so smart, did you not realise this key fact about the franchise sooner?
