Hey, so I've been working on a ROM hack of Emerald as of late, and I'm running into a strange problem that I can't find any documentation or forum posts on.
When opposing pokemon get statuses, their trainers try to use strange hold items to cure them. It will say that their [paralysis/poison/sleep] was cured, but it won't actually be.
This ONLY occurs with new trainers I've added to the game. I expanded the trainer table using Advance Trainer, giving it plenty of free space at the end of the ROM. I've exporting/importing from Advance Trainer, building trainers from scratch in A-Trainer, and manually setting the bytes in Hex Editor Advance. In all cases, any new trainers I add from hex357+ run into this glitch.
If anyone has run into this before, or has any idea what might be causing it, I'd love some help.
